At least seven more people, including four from Chhattisgarh have died of swine flu, taking India’s death toll to 1,177, health authorities said Saturday.

Of the seven deaths, four were in Chhattisgarh, two in Maharashtra and one in Gujarat. With these four deaths, Chhattisgarh has so far reported six deaths due to the pandemic virus. In Maharashtra, the death toll has climbed to 308 and in Gujarat, it has reached 209.
