A four-year-old girl in the southern county of Tainan has died of influenza A(H1N1) , the youngest patient to succumb to the new flu strain in Taiwan, health authorities said Tuesday.
The victim, who had no history of underlying disease, was treated with anti-viral drugs after coming down with the flu early this month, according to Chou Jih-haw, deputy director-general of the Centers for Disease Control.
