Louisiana: Two men died last week from swine flu complications, bringing the total number of swine flu-related deaths in Louisiana to 35, according to a state Department of Health and Hospitals news release.
Alabama: Alabama has received tens of thousands of doses of swine flu vaccine this week and last week but state health officials say its only about 30 percent of what had been expected.
Wisconsin: 1 new death.
Indiana: Two LaPorte County residents have died from H1N1 flu-related complications, LaPorte County health officials have reported.
Connecticut: The State Department of Public Health’s weekly posting of confirmed cases of flu reports nine deaths associated with the H1N1 virus in Connecticut in this fall’s second wave of the illness. There were ten deaths in last spring’s outbreak.
