October 31: United States (US): Deaths


Iowa: State health officials say two more Iowans have died of complications from swine flu. The Iowans, both adults, were from Marion and Mahaska counties. Their names, ages, genders and hometowns were not released.

California: A 24-year-old man has died from swine flu in Tulare County, marking the second death in the county from the virus. Tulare County’s public health department said the man died Friday. His name has not been released by the county Health and Human Services Agency.

Illinois: A 25-year-old Roseland woman died Friday in part from the H1H1 virus, authorities said. Carrie Brinson, 25, of 10233 S. King Dr., was pronounced dead at 1:25 a.m. Friday at Rush University Medical Center, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
