October 30: Ukraine (UA)

source: “The Ukraine has entered into a global pandemic of influenza A/H1N1,” said the Minister of Health of Ukraine revealing that at least one of the 37 victims died of Influenza A/H1N1 virus. Lviv and Iwanofrankowskim have closed all schools indefinitely.

Ukrainian medical authorities are considering placing the entire country under quarantine. Last week, 37 deaths occurred from an unknown virus, which at least one person tested positive for H1N1 after a followup.

Correction: a native speaker has informed me that the translated “planning” word in the language can be used as possibility/consideration, so it is not 100% certain they are going to quarantine.

source: “We are considering the possibility of declaring a quarantine, not only in the western areas, but also throughout the country, as the virus spreads very quickly,” said V. Knyazevych.

This is a typical “fear marketing” campaign by the local politicians and World Health Organisation (marketing branch of the pharma industry) – you have to remember presidential elections are coming on 10th Jan 2010.

Pay no attention to these panic news, just to compare 36000 died of the flu last year in the US alone.

Manu-actually-about 1700 people were “confirmed” as dying of the flu last year in the United States. This a big mistake for anyone, and especially the CDC, to use the 36,000 “seasonal flu” number to compare a “novel” Flu.

Let’s go ahead now and make our own estimate for H1N1 based on the actual “confirmed” deaths from last year compared to the “estimate”(36,000) that so many throw around so loosely. This would mean for every “confirmed seasonal” flu death last year there were 20 additional deaths.

So…Now we take the number of currently “confirmed” H1N1 deaths and apply the same ratio (although I think the ratio will, in the end, be higher for H1N1). Today (per wikipedia) we have 1451 “confirmed” deaths. Multiply that by our “CDC” estimation ratio of 20.

    1 4 5 1 x 2 0 = 2 9 , 0 2 0 H 1 N 1 D E A T H S SO FAR! ! !

Regular FLU SEASON would have only just begun.

So I guess you are right…………………………for another week or so anyway. And then look out.

WE WILL BE LUCKY IF WE ONLY LOOSE 90,000 AMERICAN LIVES THIS FLU SEASON TO H1N1.

Take a look at this link and ask yourself why they include the Influenza and Pneumonia Syndrome* deaths. These death counts are presently more than 5:1 compared to H1N1 confirmed deaths. And this was only what has been “reported” to the CDC as of 10/27/09.

Why do we need to compare H1N1 to anything? It’s not REPLACING seasonal flu, and the seasonal flu doesn’t effect healthy people the way H1N1 deaths do. When seasonal flu goes around it’s just going to complicate things even MORE.

If the number of kids being killed were actually being killed by a murderer, we would have our ears perked right? H1N1, the Flu and so on are murderers of children and for us with kids with “underlying conditions” (AKA asthma, hang nail Pfft) it’s a scary thing.

My son has just got out of the hospital with pneumonia from a bacterial infection, if he catches H1N1 OR seasonal flu, I doubt he’d make it, so you bet I’m keeping up with the news about it.
