Kentucky: The Lake Cumberland District Health Department is reporting the death of a McCreary County resident as the second H1N1 influenza-associated death in the area. The deceased was a female in her mid-50â€™s who passed away at a hospital out of state. It is not known if there were underlying health conditions. Health officials are continuing to investigate.
Florida: A 3-year-old Palm Beach County girl has died of swine flu, also known as the H1N1 virus.
Oklahoma: Six Oklahomans died from swine flu last week, bringing the official tally of reported deaths from the novel H1N1 virus to 17, health officials said.
